Fr. John J. O’ Riordain is a member of the Mount Saint Alphonsus Community. At the age of 89 he is retired from public ministry but worked throughout Ireland and further afield as a parish missioner after his ordination. Fr. John is a fluent Irish speaker. He has also researched and written extensively on the early Irish Church and the wider world of Irish monasticism in Scotland and the European mainland. His books on the early Irish Saints are very accessible and give wonder prayerful insights in to his knowledge and love of Celtic Spirituality
