Our Monastery gift shop is a treasure chest of devotional items, each hand picked to reflect and promote a spiritual life. The shop specialises in a full line of traditional candles, Mass cards and rare and elegant religious gifts sourced from local designers and artists as well as different parts of the world.
The celebration of the Eucharist is the primary community expression of our faith as Catholics. The Redemptorist community commits itself to pray for all your intentions at all masses and at community prayer. A Mass card is a great way to express our prayerful sentiments by letting someone know that they, or a deceased loved one, will be remembered at a Mass. In Our monastery shop we stock a large selection of mass cards for all intentions.
Among the selection of unique items we carry are a variety of books by Redemptorists such as Fr. John J. Ó`Riordaín C.Ss.R. and Fr. Peter Byrne C.Ss.R. both well known authors, each with a long list of their own publications. Fr. John J. Ó’ Riordaín specialises in Irish spirituality and history, while Fr. Peter Byrne’s books specialise in prayer and healing. Click on their names above to see their publications.
We also offer a large range of books, from pamphlets and booklets to large full volume works. We strive to keep the publications current and work with many different publishers to ensure good quality reading material.
Other unique works designed and sold exclusively by the Redemptorists here in Limerick include handmade icons from Ukraine which feature beautiful images of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, The Holy Trinity by Rublov, Holy Family and many more. We also stock a large selection of candles ranging from battery, grave lights to hand made, decorative candles from Poland.
