The late Fr. Sean was a member of the Redemptorist Community here in Limerick for the last number of years. His main ministry was working with the Brazilian Community. This work brought him to many areas around the mid-western region of the country.
Springtime always weeks to emit a ray of hope! With that in mind we launch ‘The Spirituality of St. Patrick’, a booklet described by its redemptorist author as a fountain of nourishment based on the writings of our national apostle. The booklet is not just a “good read” says John J., “it is a Rule of Life, a rule that sustained Patrick through rain and shine, giving meaning where meaning was hard to find”.
Today is Palm Sunday and the beginning of Holy Week.
We will celebrate the Feast of St. Blaise on Moday, 4th February and the blessing of throats will take place after the 8am, 10am and 7.15pm Masses today.
The full schedule for our Advent & Christmas ceremonies is now available
We have a large selection of Cribs, Christmas Cards and Books on sale in The Monastery Shop. Our Christmas Cards and Christmas Mass Bouquets have been especially produced for Mount St Alphonsus by Redemptorist Communications. We have reduced many of our prices – especially of Cribs – this year. It is our way of acknowledging the difficult financial situation in which many people find themselves.
